Data Infrastructure
Panther uses artificial intelligence to centralize, normalize, and analyze security data to enable cybersecurity teams to detect, investigate, and monitor security threats and misconfigurations at scale. The company aims to disrupt the legacy SIEM industry with its cloud-native platform.
The company’s core product architecture is built on the storage layer of the three major cloud providers. Panther uses an open security data lake architecture built around Snowflake that decouples compute from storage, this allows organizations to manage and retain large amounts of data for much longer. Panther competes with vendors like Splunk, Hunters, Elastic, Sumo Logic and Exabeam. They also indirectly compete against endpoint detection vendors like SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks Cortex.
