Chainguard plays a critical role in securing the software supply chain by creating secure base container images. The company verifies each line of code in the images used to create deployable containers in order to identify and remove vulnerabilities. These container images are then used by developers as trusted pieces of code allowing them to focus on building secure software instead of checking for vulnerabilities.
